Cruisin’ – Cruising Around w/The Dude

Our fun didn’t stop at just exploring Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, we were on a beer and music cruise after all. The Lewbrewski Cruise was the ultimate craft beer vacation and included some of our favorite bands throughout each day of the trip. Alongside the beer flowing and music filling the North Atlantic Ocean air, the overall theme was in influence of The Big Lebowski (hence how they came up with the name for the cruise).

>> The entire get away was hosted by Kyle Hollingsworth from The String Cheese Incident and besides most the members of SCI, bands like OAR, Molly Hatchet, and The Young Dubliners were also part of the lineup. Although we didn’t know most the bands playing, we soon enjoyed music from Andy Frasco, The Samples, Doc Holiday, Jared and the Mill, Alpha Rev, and Raelyn Nelson <<

>> Along with the great music, we also enjoyed delicious beer. At first I thought it’d be a small selection that would be available to us and then it all came to realization once we went to our first beer tasting. They weren’t bringing the mainstays of any brewery but the specialty one-offs that you don’t find everyday. There was a tasting each day and each had a different selection from the previous. We got our fill at the tastings because alcohol is not cheap on cruise ships. We met many fellow cruisers along the way, went to dinner randomly with a guy named Brian (bought us some delicious Cabernet too), and got to hang out with Kyle Hollingsworth & Michael Kang from SCI. The beer tastings were exceptional and the company was even better <<

>> Here’s the complete list of the breweries –>Avery, Ballast Point, Boulder Beer, Boulevard Brewing, The Bruery, Cigar City Brewing, Coronado Brewing, Dogfish Head, Founders, Funky Buddha, Left Hand, Ommegang, Oskar Blues, Rogue, Stone, & Terrapin <<

>> Our cruise took place on the Norwegian Pearl and was a very well equipped boat for cruising. We had amazing customer service, great food & beverage, and amazing entertainment. This was Tharon’s first cruise and have to say it was much better than my first cruise experience. Not saying the first was bad but If you’re going to go on one, I’d suggest a music + beer cruise. We had a blast! <<
